Messages for Parking and Field Information for Adrenaline Adventures

Monday is the first day that the PIT will be playing at Adrenaline Adventures and we hope it is a great success. We have three potential fields located at Adrenaline each of which is full regulation and no goal posts, ideal for touch football! Adrenaline also has an irrigation system that ideally will keep the fields in good shape throughout the duration of the summer. There will be some growing pains as with any new endeavor but we believe as the fields mature teams will enjoy playing at Adrenaline and also enjoy all the other amenities the location offers including both an indoor and outdoor lounge on-site!

The fields are located on the North side of the Adrenaline complex next to the giant ropes course (you cannot miss it!). All teams are reminded that they CANNOT under any circumstances park on Caron road. All players and referees must park in the parking lot in front of the Adrenaline Adventures clubhouse. From there players are to enter the building and exit through the North doors (walk in and go right). You will then walk past the wake boarding park toward the ropes course following the path until you find the entrance to the fields.

For this season there is no gate fee required. Adrenaline hopes that teams will take advantage of their awesome lounges and great drink prices after games. The indoor lounge is located on the second floor with great views of the entire complex, the outdoor lounge is located on the beach where you can take in the beach volleyball games while having a drink. If teams use the facility after games then Adrenaline will not require a gate fee to make up for the expense of maintaining the fields. They offer great deals onsite so there is no need for teams to travel elsewhere for post game drinks and should add to the best game day experience in recreational sports!

Any players who park in front of the fields on the dirt service road will have their cars towed. If you are late, do not park on the road as your car will be towed. If you see other cars parked (those will be towed) do not park on the road or it will be towed. If you think it is too long of a walk from the clubhouse, it will be a longer walk home when your car is towed! There is no excuse to park on the road! First it is unsafe, second your car will get covered in the dust kicked up from the service road, and third your car will be towed! Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.

Teams should also note that there is no way to cross the perimeter highway going North to get to Adrenaline Adventures, you can only access Caron road heading in the Southern direction. If you have never been to Adrenaline before give yourself plenty of time to ensure you can find the fields. It is a five minute walk to the fields from the clubhouse and you cannot park on the road (your car will be towed) so show up early! Team captains please impress upon your teammates about showing up early to games at Adrenaline (and staying late after!)

Have fun at Adrenaline, we hope this is the beginning of a long partnership between Adrenaline Adventures and the PIT. There is no other outdoor facility like this in the city and is currently the closest thing Winnipeg has to a dedicated outdoor touch football complex complete with onsite lounge, something that all other provinces seem to enjoy!

If coming from the south, Google Maps says to keep going north past Adrenaline Adventures and use the Roblin ramps to loop back south on the Perimeter to access Caron. Is that the best route? Or is there a shorter back road off Wilkes that will get you to Caron?

That is the only way coming from the south, there is no access off of Wilkes!!

Caron road goes right off the perimeter highway, it is about 400 yards from Adrenaline when driving south on the perimeter so don't fly by it as there are no signs/markings. It is a gravel road that will loop back slightly then will go straight to Adrenaline.

After having these fields pegged in for a few years now finally getting a chance to play on them and appreciate the amenities at adrenaline I can say it was absolutely worth the wait. Those of you that play indoor get the same opportunity to play some ball and then go upstairs for some drinks and eats. Food and drinks are well priced and servers were awesome!

Thanks to the league for putting in the legwork to obtain these fields. Gonna be a great outdoor experience from hence forth.

Despite my original email regarding parking and multiple website posts, on Tuesday there were a few players who claimed that they did not know about parking on the road and were actually very testy towards our referees when they were asked to move. DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD! You must park in the parking lot and walk through the Adrenaline Adventures park to the fields. After the game stop in and grab a bite to eat or some drinks and keep the parking fee away! Your cooperation is expected and appreciated! Referees will continue to ask people to move their cars and if there is any push back from players towards our referees I will have to get involved...you don't want me involved!

Thanks everyone, so far the fields at Adrenaline have been awesome and the hospitality even better.

So this parking this is a bit a of joke.

While playing today, we watched car after car of ultimate players park on the road - no problems, no cares.

I parked in the parking lot like I was supposed to. Made the long walk to the field. Made the long walk back, only to find my car boxed in. (I wasn't the only one.)

I was fortunate that someone was leaving shortly thereafter, and I was able to slowly back-and-forth my way out on a diagonal. Didn't scrape any cars, but I sure felt like it!

I don't think it's too much to ask that if AA wants us to us their parking lot, they should look after it. Maybe they can use their fictional tow truck that is apparently going to tow cars off the gravel road!

(By all means, I would love for this to be passed to AA.)

To be honest we need to respect the rules of the facility. If others want to break the rules that does not mean we are now allowed to do the same. I hold our players to a higher standard. Please park in the parking lot, our referees will continue to request players move their car from the road. It is dangerous to park on the road, your car will be covered in dust, you will get your car towed, and honestly a few minute walk through the facility is not the end of the world.

As for being boxed in, people park like idiots everywhere, I don't think you can pin that on Adrenaline.

So for like the fourth time, DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD! Have a beer after and the parking lot will thin out as you enjoy the social aspect of recreational sports.

Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.
