What a night of football! Some of the craziest games in PIT history went down tonight, with a record number of overtime games. Some great games, greater plays, and even greater-er individual performances. The superlatives cannot do justice to the night of football. All of the scores are up and a huge congratulations to our 20 new divisional champions! Pictures, write ups, and due justice will be given over the next week.

Its nights like tonight that I am glad I can still play the game I love to play, and not only that I have become such a fan of watching the skill that is regularly put on display by our PIT players and teams. I was glued to the fields at the end of the night watching overtime game after overtime game as teams left everything they had on the field. A tapestry of jubilation and despondency was on display.

Additionally I have to give a huge shout out to the lounge who put up with our insanity and celebrating at the end of the night. We kept them hostage until nearly 3:00am on what is realistically a week night...another shout out to those who spared the parking lot beers after the lounge closed so we could continue to rehash all of the great plays and games of the night. Nights like tonight remind me of how great it is to run this league.

Having taken part in one of those crazy "have to be there to see then end" type of games last night, I once again tip my hat to Jon,Scott and the rest of the people that help make the league what it is today. I've never had such an emotional low, and high in the span of about 20 seceonds during a football game before. I had to channel some Flutie magic and the end of my game. Nonetheless, I dont know how you guys do it, but you always seem to keep the league running at a very high level, and aside from all that, Jon and Scott are two of the nicest most approachable people I have ever known, which i think really helps contribute to making things run so smoothly. Keep up the good work!

To be fair, Travers, Scott's only so approachable because he's usually about 20% Crown Royal, and Jon's niceness changes dramatically based on the quality of his students at mid-term...

Kidding. They're great.

Just wanted to extend a few thank you' at the end of the season.

Thanks to Jon and Scott for allowing us to continue our pursuit of championship glory in a first class league. I can't even imagine the amount of work you guys pour into this so please know that I believe I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate your efforts.

Thank you ref's for putting up with our shenanigans when our tempers flare and always trying to make the right call. I can't remember a time where I left the field thinking that ref really did a bad job.

Thanks fellow players (opponents) of the PIT without you I might throw more TD's and less picks and certainly win more championships but your a necessary evil to do what I love to do.

Thanks to my current and past teammates you guys always make it a pleasure to drive to the field at 1:00 am in sub zero temperatures.

Chris, if that's the case.. Then I demnad that Scott do blood for booze transfusion so there is just crown royal constantly flowing through his veins.
