I just had a quick question about playoffs......i know it's not even close at this time but i was just wondering how many teams make the playoffs, or does everybody?? i honestly can't remember....... maybe a few to many shots to the head.

Jon, this is the perfect place to put Jim Mora's "Playoffs?!" tirade from youtube!

So here goes:

All teams make playoffs. Weather permitting playoffs will begin Saturday September 17th with championship games running Saturday October 1st/Sunday October 2nd. Location is TBA but I am sure we will continue to offer championship games at a memorable venue.

Elite/Div 1 split for playoffs
Div 2 (7 teams): 1st place team receives first round bye. 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5
Div 3 (10 teams): 1st-6th receive first round bye. 7th vs 10th, 8th vs 9th
Div 4 (10 teams): 1st-6th receive first round bye. 7th vs 10th, 8th vs 9th
Div 5 (8 teams): No byes. 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5
Div 6 (10 teams): 1st-6th receive first round bye. 7th vs 10th, 8th vs 9th
Div 7 (10 teams): 1st-6th receive first round bye. 7th vs 10th, 8th vs 9th
Div 8 (10 teams): 1st-6th receive first round bye. 7th vs 10th, 8th vs 9th

And just for Brett:

Are there rough dates set for playoffs yet?
Div 4 for eg 1-6 get a bye. Are 7-10 slated to start playoffs that weekend(Sep 17-18th)?
Then 1-8 play the following weekend?
Or are there playoff games during the week?

Weather permitting we will be starting playoffs Saturday July 17th with Championship games running October 1st and 2nd. All teams are expected to be available for any weekend date between the start and end of playoffs. The first Saturday will mostly (not all) be 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9 seed games, so be prepared to play regardless!

As always we will get the playoff schedule finalized and up on the website prior to the Labour Day Long Weekend.
