Hi everyone, here is the link to the new schedule request from to be used for the Winter season onward: https://pit.redzoneleagues.com/league_files

The form will look very similar to the previous form. Additions include:
* Ranking your schedule requests in priority order
* Ranking your conflicts in priority order
* A statement that any players added to your roster after the deadline will not have their other teams accounted for. We had numerous teams add players after the deadline then ask about changing the schedule to accommodate their new players. We simply cannot do this. Teams also cannot replace their quarterback with someone who is of higher calibre. We are seeing instances of teams registering in a lower division with a particular quarterback and then changing their quarterback who is too good for their division. Teams are placed in a division in large part because of their quarterback. We won't be allowing teams to do this without consultation from the league administration to ensure divisional parity is upheld.

In the Fall season we received a record number of schedule request and conflicts, to the point where some teams simply didn't supply enough dates to schedule their five games. Teams should only request dates off that they will not be able to field a team. Teams should not ask every player for requests and them come back with 25 different dates that don't work for them. We need to reduce the number of days teams take off to provide the best schedule for all teams.

Teams who request "just U of Manitoba" or "just Fridays" must keep in mind that is five requests just for a location preference, and five more for a day request. Other teams in your division may prefer Saturdays or Garden City, so it is impossible to guarantee all games on a specific day or location. Players have lost sight of the fact that other teams also have requests and that your requests change the schedule for everyone in your division. We will endeavour to give you as many Fridays as possible or as many south games as possible, but we cannot guarantee requests.

We will still offer the most flexible scheduling policy in all of recreational sports, we just need team captains to work with us to make scheduling easier and thus being able to accommodate the most pressing requests.

Teams that have already put in their schedule request forms do not need to submit the new form. So far teams that have put in requests for the Winter season have been very reasonable!
