With yesterday’s announcement that the COVID-19 public health restrictions regarding sports have been extended until June 12th, we have decided to cancel the spring season and provide refunds to teams based on the prorated amount outlined prior to the season starting. This decision was not made lightly, and was based on the following factors:

* The earliest we would be able to resume our spring season would be June 19th – a full six weeks between weeks 2 and week 3 of the original schedule.
* The soccer complexes could not guarantee our field times/schedule moving forward.
* We received numerous emails from players and teams who have work and other commitments in the summer that would make revising a schedule and potentially reworking divisions impossible.

Refunds will be provided starting Monday, May 31st. Unfortunately, with e-transfer limits, we are constrained by the number and amount of transfers that can be sent in any 24-hour period. We plan to have all e-transfers returned no later than Monday June 7th.

What does this mean for the summer season?

We plan to open our summer season after July long weekend, just as we did last summer. The season will consist of a 10-game season beginning Monday July 5th. Details for the summer season will be released this weekend. 5 on 5 and coed divisions will once again be made available, along with the usual summer 7 on 7 full field divisions.

If your team would like to keep your money in for the summer season as a deposit, please let us know by noon on Monday May 31st. To show our appreciation, teams that would like to use their money for a deposit for the summer league will be entered into a draw for 50% off summer registration. New teams to the summer season will also receive an additional $50 off their registration. New teams are any team that have not played in the summer season previously. You are still a new team if you played in the Spring or any “non-summer” season previously. Summer season runs 7-days a week, so you can request to play on the days that work best for you!

We have full confidence that a summer season beginning in July will be played to completion. Last year our summer season went off without a hitch. By providing a three-week leeway between the end of the next set of restrictions (June 12th) and the proposed start of summer, we help insulate the summer season from additional measures.

We appreciate your business. Please discuss with your teams regarding if you prefer a refund or a deposit for your summer season. If you would like a refund, no need to contact us. We will process the refund and send them out between Monday May 31st and Monday June 7th. If you would like to use the prorated amount as a deposit for summer, please let us know and we will mark you in for the summer season!

The first set of refund was sent out today. We hit the etransfer limit pretty quickly, and will resume refunds Tuesday. We appreciate your patience as we settle up all the teams from the Spring season.
