Last evening, for the third time this summer a team has been spotted with open alcohol at Maple Grove. As you are well aware there is a zero tolerance policy on alcohol at any field. Our fields can be revoked so any player that is caught with open alcohol will be removed from the league. Maple Grove has a lounge onsite that serves alcohol in a designated area at extremely low prices so there is no excuse to have alcohol at those or any of our fields. We have been contacted by Maple Grove to prevent this from occurring in the future. Our field costs are negotiated with people using the lounge in mind, so if we are not using the lounge costs go up and that is passed onto you as the consumer.
Effective immediately we will have our officials be on the watch for anyone drinking on the sidelines at any field. Please respect the rules so that we can continue playing at the best fields in Manitoba.

Cost of drinking elsewhere - priceless!!
- this is probably why teams like to bring a cooler to the fields. Just wanted the on location drinking pad today and got shut down by locked doors.... 😭

Does the Maple Grove lounge have set hours of operation so we know when we can go there? And if the lounge is closed, can we bring our own beers to drink on their licensed patio?
