The PIT football league has partnered with Maple Grove to offer two in season "tournaments" which will have beer gardens hosted by Labatt Brewery, Food trucks and a tournament atmosphere as the PIT will take over Maple Grove on May 26th weekend and August 18th weekend. The PIT will have all four fields at Maple Grove running on the Fridays of those weekends and two fields Saturday and Sunday with beer gardens in effect the whole weekend. We hope the social atmosphere brings yet another new element to the best game day experience in touch football! Ideally all teams will have a regular season game Maple Grove those weekends and can partake in the festivities, hoist a few cold ones, provide tall tales of our football prowess and generally have a great time in the midst of like minded football fanatics.
Just another perk to playing in the PIT this summer! Thanks to Maple Grove and Labatt for hosting our kickoff weekend party and our mid-season festivities this summer. This should be a great time and if people like the idea of holding a beer gardens on weekends Maple Grove will be amendable to hosting more of these events in the future!
