Play where the pros play! With the help of our new league partners the PIT has secured IGF for each of our record 13 outdoor championship finals! Games will be played on the artificial turf September 20th, October 1st and October 2nd on the field where the Bombers play.
It has been a whirlwind couple of days as the PIT first secured the city's premier indoor facility (during prime time!) for our indoor season and now we have secured the province's premier outdoor facility to host our championship finals. A little extra incentive to win your playoff games with a chance to play where the pros play for your final games.
A big shout out to Jim Bell of the Knights/Royal LePage Real Estate for helping get this deal done with IGF.

Just wondering if they might open a concession stand for the day? would be kind of good to just sit in the stands and watch some football with a beer and a hotdog.
Any chance they would do that or let the league operate out of one?

The league, definitely not. I can ask about IGF running concessions but it may be a stretch. We would probably have to guarantee a minimum purchase amount and it would probably mean the addition of more security, liquor law stuff, costs and so on. Bomber tickets don't come cheap for a reason!

Championship games at IGF start September 20th as both the Division 2 and Division 13 championships will be played starting at 6:15pm.
Entrance to the facility will be through the loading dock entrance near Gate #4. Doors open one hour before kickoff so you should be able to get into IGF as early as 5:15pm.
There is onsite parking located on the west side of the facility where the Bomber Store is located. Over flow, paid parking can be found in “U Lot” on Bison Drive. “U Lot” is free after 4:00pm. Parking in non-designated areas may result in being towed. No pets or outside food or drink are allowed. Water bottles are allowed for game participants.
Should be an awesome time and we will be hosting a record 13 championship finals at IGF to close down our summer season.

I'm 99% sure free parking starts at 4:30pm in all UofM student parking lots.

Should be plenty of free parking right at IGF. If we get a few thousand fans out you may need to use U lot...although you still won't be able to get into IGF until 5:15pm anyway! MegaPowers are in their element with playoff football...the regular season be damned!
