The playoffs for coed recreational, Division 1, and Division 2 go this weekend. Those divisions will wrap up as both semifinals and finals will be played. All remaining divisions will be completed next weekend as the season wraps up on May 14th. A reminder that the PIT tiebreaker system is different than the simple plus minus that is listed on the website. Our tiebreaker system for playoffs can be found here: http://pitfootball.com/menu/indoor-rules

Division 1:
Knights (1) vs Peg City Misfits (4)
The Jeffrey (2) vs Mapetown (3)
There was a three-way tie for 2nd place in the division. Since there was an unbalanced schedule the tiebreaker was decided via plus minus vs common opponents within the division. The only common opponent was RNS. With that tiebreaker scenario in place Peg City Misfits get relegated to fourth place with a +/- of -1 (Mapetown +5, Jeffrey +3). With that tiebreaker out of the way the Jeffery gets 2nd place due to their regular season victory over Mapetown (tiebreakers revert back to the first set of tiebreakers after one team is relegated).

Division 2:
Beerhawks (1) vs Kings of the Pound (4)
Monstars (2) vs So Smooth (3)
Just like in Division 1 there was a three-way tie for second place (what parity!). This division had an equal schedule and each of the Monstars, Kings of the Pound and So Smooth finished 1-1 against each other. Plus/Minus in those games was used as the first tiebreaker, wherein Kings of the Pound got relegated to fourth place with a +/- of -9 (Smooth Criminals -6, Monstars +15). Monstars take second place due to their head-to-head victory over So Smooth in the regular season.

The remainder of the tiebreakers will be decided this coming weekend. Good luck to all teams in their quest for championship glory!

Below are the remaining tiebreakers for the record breaking Spring season. Our tiebreaker system for playoffs can be found here: http://pitfootball.com/menu/indoor-rules Both the semifinals and finals will go this upcoming weekend (May 13th and 14th). Good luck to all teams in their quest for championship glory.

Coed Competitive:
Flying Squirrels (1) Bye
Assassins Legends (2) vs Diving Snatch (3)
Assassins Legends finish second by virtue of their head-to-head victory in the regular season over Diving Snatch.

Elite:
Horde (1) Bye
Polk High (2) vs Rebels (3)
Winner of Elite will play Team Manitoba for the Flag Football Championship.

Division 3:
Knighthawks (1) vs Gym Class Heroes (4)
Agent Orange (2) vs Northbay (3)
Winner of Division 3 will play Team Manitoba (U20) for the Flag Football Championship.

Division 4:
The Kings (1) vs Patalia Island (4)
Picked Last in Gym Class (2) vs No Limit Training (3)
No Limit Training wins the third seed due to their head-to-head victory over Patalia Island during the regular season.

Division 5:
Silverbacks (1) vs 5th String Phenoms (4)
Gordans Goons (2) vs THCHawks (3)
THCHawks win the third seed by virtue of their head-to-head regular season victory over the 5th String Phenoms.

Division 6:
Venum (1) vs Average Sized Giants (4)
Snipers (2) vs Danger Zone (3)
A rare three-way tie for first place as Venum, Snipers, and Danger Zone all finished the year 4-1 and had identical 1-1 records versus one another. Plus/Minus in those head-to-head games was used to break the tie with Danger Zone coming out last due to a +/- of -8 (Venum -6, Snipers +14). Venum then gets the top seed as they defeated the Snipers head-to-head. Great parity in this division!

Division 7:
Free Agents: The Second Coming (1) vs Lunch Bunches (4)
Young Guns (2) vs The Boys (3)

Division 8:
Fail Mary (1) vs The Phenomenal Ones (4)
Bad Newz Kennels (2) vs The Night Show (3)
Bad Newz Kennels receives the second seed due to their head-to-head victory over the Night Show during the regular season.

Division 9:
The Upper Deckers (1) vs Damn Yankees (4)
Uncrowned (2) vs Nothing But 6s (3)
Uncrowned takes the second seed by beating Nothing But 6s (by 1 point!) in the regular season. Damn Yankees who in the winter season were in a tie for the final playoff spot (and missed the playoffs by losing the tiebreaker) found themselves in the exact same once again in the Spring. This time however they win the tiebreaker by defeating the Free Agents on the final day of the regular season. These guys like taking their division down to the wire! Another uber-competitive division.

Division 10:
1017 Brick Squad (1) vs TD Twisters (4)
The Dilligaf’s (2) vs Suckskatchewan (3)
Another rarity as in Div 10 there was a three-way tie, this time for the final playoff spot! Back that Pass Up, The Bill Arnotts and TD Twisters all had a single victory and that victory came at each other’s expense! Plus/Minus in head-to-head games was once again used with Back That Pass up being relegated with a +/- of -8 (The Bill Arnotts +8, TD Twisters 0). The tiebreakers revert back to the start after a team is relegated so TD Twisters sneaks into the final playoff spot because they defeated the Bill Arnotts in their matchup!!!!

A record 70 teams participated in the Spring season, so there will be a record 16 championship trophies handed out this Spring! Should be a great final weekend to cap off the Spring season!
