Teams are reminded to bring waiver forms to their first games. No player is allowed to play without one. Team captains bring extra because you know that someone on your team is going to leave theirs on their kitchen table! Waiver forms can be found here: http://pitfootball.com/league_files

Despite the emails, web posts, Twitters, and skywriting about half the teams forgot waivers tonight. Games were delayed and time was not made up as teams scrambled to find waiver forms. A reminder that NO ONE is allowed to play without a waiver signed so don't forget yours lest you be watching from the sidelines!

Is it weird if this baffles me? I don't understand how people miss the whole "you need a waiver" thing. It's the same every year, and it's certainly not a secret.
I dunno. Sometimes I think you must have the patience of Job...

A reminder that waiver forms are due the first game played and can be handed to your referee. You require a waiver form if you did not play in the Fall 2015 season (last season). If you did play in the fall then assumingly you have your waiver filled out. Teams will default if they do not have their waiver forms up to date so be sure to bring your form.

Team captains are forwarded to bring some extra copies. Those same guys on your team who forget to pay you, forget when games are, forget what their names are, will inevitably also forget their waiver forms!
