Adrenaline Adventures and PIT Sports have teamed up this year to hold games out on the West Perimeter. We have talked about getting fields out there for a couple of summers and games will finally begin Monday. The PIT Crew went out Thursday and lined to fully regulation sized fields in anticipation of Mondays games. Adrenaline seeded the fields last year and put in an irrigation system to keep the grass growing all summer long. They have really pulled out the stops for the PIT, and not only that they have a great onsite lounge and beach volleyball going on at the same time. Grab a drink after games and check out the bikinis! There will be some important information regarding parking and park rules that will be up shortly. In the meantime check out the fields and information about Adrenaline.

Here is some information about the facility at Adrenaline Adventures:

Part II: (Shows the lounge which is probably what a lot of our players are interested in!) Yes the Water's Edge lounge at Adrenaline Adventures overlooks the beach volleyball courts will be open before, during and after games! Pretty sure Jason (the owner of Adrenaline) just rolled out of bed for this interview.

Both fields at Adrenaline Adventures was relined right before the weekend, here are some pics of our handiwork: http://pitfootball.com/albums/746-adrenaline-adventures-part-ii Check out pics of the line job and some of the other great activities!

We should be lining Adrenaline every two weeks for the duration of the summer and due to some of the wear and tear we may be moving to field number 3 (closest to the road) when we reline again in a couple of weeks.

The lining part IV: Adrenaline Adventures.

The PIT Crew lined the field for the 4th time this season with the pics found here: http://pitfootball.com/albums/760-adrenaline-adventures-part-iv

There will be one last lining at Adrenaline this week in preparation for the all-star game on Saturday. There are some pics of last years festivities interspersed in the lining pics. A reminder that teams have until Tuesday to submit their players who will receive an all t-shirt courtesy of Harv-Al (with great new logo design from Neil Smalley), a chance to win some great swag, and food and beverages following the game at the Water's Edge restaurant!

Adrenaline was lined right before the monsoons by the new lining crew of Brent and Dion. I wasn't there to catch the lining action but I did catch the end of it here right before the monsoon hit the city last weekend.

Not only do Dion and Brent line the fields better than the Rock...they also can act much better.

I know you guys have tried hard to get this field going, but I have to say that it may be one of the worst I've ever played on. Considering it's a newer field, there should be no reason it's that bad. It's like cement, I didn't see any irrigation, it's not crowned, and it looks and feels like hardened clay.

I don't mean to be negative Nancy, but I feel like people are going to get hurt. The lines were good though, so kudos for that!

I actually thing that considering its a newer field there would be growing pains...no way they could get a field in perfect condition year one...and that giant apparatus on the side of the field is an irrigation system!

Having said that however we will be sitting down with Adrenaline to ensure the fields are better for next year. Jason has already put a plan in place to start fixing the field in a couple weeks time when we are done for the year. If things go as planned ideally we will have a better set up for next year. And since we are discussing fields the league should have an announcement on some new fields for next year shortly!

Adrenaline Adventures was cut and lined during the storms last week. It was quite the endeavor to get them completed and thanks to Brent and Dion for braving the storm to get the field completed. Here are a few pics of their work: http://pitfootball.com/albums/818-adrenaline-adventures

Just like at Maple Grove, if you take a picture of your team in the bar after your games you will get an entry to win a $50 bar tab courtesy of the PIT! Winners for May and June will be announced shortly. Still a few more days to get your entry in for June!

We are finally back at Adrenaline Adventures. The PIT Crew worked the long weekend and cut, measured and lined two fields at Adrenaline. We will be using one field during the week and one on weekends to ensure we don't beat up the fields too much. Here are some pictures of the field work: http://pitfootball.com/albums/853-adrenaline-adventures

The fields are still not as good as our others despite Adrenaline's efforts to make things better. They have added soil and grass seed but I have told them they have a month to try to make things better or we will go elsewhere next season. Fields such as Little Mountain, Bridgewater Forest, Arthur Wright, Sansome, The Golf Dome have all not been retained since they could not meet the expectations of the PIT. As promised at the beginning of this season we were reducing our number of games this year but at the same time giving Adrenaline a chance to improve their fields. Last year we played 106 games at Adrenaline, this year it is just 66 we amounts to a reduction of almost 40%. We will make a decision regarding fields for next year shortly after our season ends. We continue to strive to improve the game play in the league and offer the best game day experience in recreational sports.

I really hope they can improve, as Optimist and Adrenaline are the closest fields for those of us who live north west of the city.

Adrenaline was relined for the last time this season. We come to the home stretch with just three weeks remaining with only the Division 4 crown seemingly decided. There will be some great races that will come down to the wire, and to compliment the great races, some great field lining. Brent and Dion and done it again, see their handiwork here: http://pitfootball.com/albums/859-last-lining-adrenaline-adventures

The PIT is the only league to consistently offer a full compliment of field lining, including numbers, hashes, player boxes, and most importantly, five yard increments.

Only in the PIT!

The field looked great. At the end of the season you should paint parking stalls on the field. Because it plays like a parking lot.;)
