Good luck to all the teams in nationals this weekend. I believe there are 6ish Winnipeg teams?

Winnipeg True Blue - Womens Division
Winnipeg Iced Earth
Winnipeg Doggs
Winnipeg Rebels
Winnipeg The Ledge
Winnipeg/Kitchener Stampeders - members of the Horde and Stampeders

Good luck to everyone in their tiers. Sorry in advanced to the rebels if they meet us in the final of our tier.

Those are fightin' words Gwizon! You can be sure that the Rebel Train's making a stop the Ledge house the night before said final!

Less than 24 hours until the drinking debacle ensues. Kitchener challenges the Rebels and Ledge to a weekend drinking competition (if all remaining Winnipeg teams want to band together as 1 you can try to challenge any one of our teams, but the odds are you will not be victorious!) Thursday evening should be epic.

Iced earth lost to the 2 time defending champion piranhas in the quarter finals today and are now in the A division.

The Hamilton Piranhas are now the three-time defending national champions. They played a great tournament and proved why they are #1.

Horde-Peders (a collection of the Horde and Kitchener Stampeders) finished highest among Winnipeg contingent players finishing 7th in Canada (by virtue of their victory over Dartmouth). Iced Earth finished 8th (by virtue of their loss to Dartmouth), the Doggs would have finished in about 12th, a great showing considering they were down to just 9 players by tournament end. Three teams in the top 12 in Canada is pretty impressive and shows how much talent is currently being produced in Manitoba...ideally the Horde gets their full team out next year to show Canada what they can really do.

The ladies (Winnipeg True Blue) finished second in BB division, a very impressive feat. Along the way they knocked off the #6 seed in Canada. That would put the ladies also in the top 10 in Canada themselves if my math is correct.

The Rebels were knocked off in the quarterfinals of BB and looked very good out East. The Winnipeg Ledge were not as fortunate getting relegated to C division and losing the quarterfinals there. Injuries, alcohol and strippers really do a number of teams!

For those of you who don't know the divisional system it is as follows:
AA (top division), A, BB, B, CC, C.

As always a great time, great football, and a great party in Montreal!

Thanks
