Unfortunately it looks like some of the park has been sold off and the football field has been compromised by the construction. The fence has been removed on the West side and markers have been placed at the 30 yard lines. Many players and referees have come to enjoy this location with the nearly perfect flat field. I am truly pissed that the urban sprawl has taken another victim at the expense of adult sport.

Still waiting for an alternate spot for this week, we may move to Arthur Wright earlier than expected (possibly next week) to accommodate the North side of the city requests. Work continues about 100 yards West of the field, so there is no telling when the digging will compromise the field.

Games should be on at Leila North this week as scheduled. After the long weekend we will make some changes. If construction begins this week we will move to McPhillips Athletic Grounds. If that happens we will notify all teams.
