Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! Due to the limited supply of field time available we will be capping the number of teams in the Fall league at 72. The registration deadline for the Fall season is Friday October 14th, however teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. In each of the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions last year we hit capacity and had to turn teams away. The league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams, so please keep that in mind when registering. Don't get left out in the cold, the earlier you register the better chance you will be playing in Manitoba's largest and fastest growing touch football league.

All the customary PIT swag to the winners of each division – including each championship team member’s name engraved ‘Stanley Cup’ style on the nicest trophies in touch football today! Check out our sponsors page here to give you an idea of all the awards and swag that will be given out to players throughout the season: http://www.pitfootball.com/sponsors Divisions will be aligned according to team calibre. Teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register. We will find a competitive division for all teams who are interested for the Fall league. If you have any questions regarding registration, divisions, competitive balance, or anything else be sure to contact us! Be part of Canada’s fastest growing full-service touch football league! 10:15 -11:15? does this mean no more games starting at midnight or later?

That is only start times, we will still have the later time slots as we are running three time slots per night (as per usual).

Stupid soccer

Maybe we would get better time slots if we faked injuries and cured them with magic water and cans of compressed air?

Alert, Alert, the Fall session already has 16 teams listed. You hear this every session...because it's true, multiple teams will be chasing us on the last day of registration to get the final spot! Pay early and avoid meeting Jon or myself on the streets of Winnipeg!

No personal cheques that have not be certified.

Big Man, I like magic water!!

is there going to be a free agent team?

Comment Posted by jon Sep 11, 2011 07:03 PM

Yes, there is! We have been so busy with the all-star game, getting the fields ready for playoffs, and the start of indoor registration that we hadn't got around to the free agent team until now.

Whether you are an individual looking to play fall-ball, or have a group of buddies, but not enough for a team, you can sign up for the Free Agent Fall 2011 team. You can request to be added to the roster, which currently sits in Division 10. We will move the team up or down in divisions depending on the calibre of players on the team. All players are welcome regardless of skill level. Cost will depend on the number of players on the team. So for example, if the team had 10 players the cost would be $65 per player. Please contact us if you require further information regarding registering a team or would like to sign up for the free agents.

We are now at 67 teams - cap is at 72. Teams are reminded to get their teams registered on the website and to get registration in as early as possible to ensure they are not left out in the cold. The registered team list can be found here: http://www.pitfootball.com/divisions

Beats practicing with guys with "turtle arms" all winter.
