The fields for the playoffs have been set. We will be playing at both Maple Grove and John Forsyth for the playoffs. Both fields are in great shape considering the weather and are located minutes away from one another, which should help accommodate those multi-team players. The league will endeavor to ensure that players on more than one team (as indicated on the original schedule request forms) will not play their games at the same time.
Weather permitting, playoffs will begin Saturday September 17th and conclude Sunday October 2nd.
The final touches are being made regarding the venue of our championship games and will be released shortly, but as usual you will not be disappointed!

In addition to securing Maple Grove and John Forsyth for the playoffs and East Side Eagles for all championship games, the PIT has just reached a deal with Maple Grove allowing us to line the fields for football (they prohibit the lining of the fields during the regular season because it "interferes" with rugby). With rugby finishing up for the season Maple Grove will be lined to PIT specifications for our playoffs.
In addition, Maple Grove will have the clubhouse open for each of our Saturday games (September 17th, 24th and October 1st). If you have a playoff game on those dates be sure to stop in for some celebratory beverages (or alternative to toast the end of the season). We are currently in negotiations to get the clubhouse open for our players on the 18th and 25th as well.
