Messages for '72 Dolphins

Don Shula and the '72 Dolphins sipped from a couple of bottles of champagne last night as two of the leagues undefeated teams suffered their first losses of the season. First, Andrew Beveridge, and his 4 TD passes, led Face Kick to victory over Division 4 leaders HFC, then the Dogg Pound rode the Klumpler Express (7 points consisting entirely of converts and singles, to go along with 2 picks) to a 33-24 victory over the Chiefs in Division 3 action.

Only the Avengers (Elite), The Brewers (Division 5), and System of a Touchdown (Division 7) have yet to be felled. The curse of the Dolphins will loam over each of those teams as each reaches July undefeated.

The PIT could probably arrange a meeting with Jay-Z (he is down with the PIT) if one of those teams remains undefeated.

I don't know much about the '72 Dolphins but I hear they were great. Im more interested in the '08 Detroit Lions. Now that is a record to marvel at.

We look forward to playing both teams in the near future.

Guess I should also have included the Woody's in this discussion. I failed to see the Woody's down the Division 3 standings due to your "light schedule" request to start the season. So technically four teams remain undefeated (with a chance to play Jay-Z in a yet uninvented game of 3D football)!

The Woodys do appreciate the "light schedule" to start the season.
Thank-you master scheduler!!!
Our schedule starts to crank-up next week and we do not stop till about the
third week of august, we have some catching up to do. It appears the Titans having some catching up do as well.
Looking forward to the rest of the season. Good luck to the rest of the teams the remainder
of the way.
Just a quick shout to Jamie Wilson of Cobras/Woodys, broke his foot on Sunday night. Gone for a minimum of six
to seven weeks. We wish him a speedy recovery. He was having a helluva of a season to this point.
thanks

System of a touchdown is the latest team to be excluded from the Dream season of the 72 Dolphins! A great game to ref and watch as the Manwhor3z and System fought it out to the last second. Manwhor3z scored on their last drive to take the lead and then System marched down the field getting to the 5 yard line before Don Cao ended System's drive with a game winning sack! Troy's overheard saying "Turn it off sir, don't play it again!" This may have been the difference.... I saw the Manwhor3z viewing this before the game!

Not a great weekend to be a divisional leader as almost all of the leaders fell, including the Woody's quest for an undefeated season. Divisional leaders Iced Earth (Div 1), The Chiefs (Div 3), HFC (Div 4), and the Anvils (Div 8) were all upset on the weekend. The Roughnecks (Div 6) were also almost taken out by the Fighting Fire Hydrants in the game of the weekend (50-46 in favor of the Roughnecks) and the Brewers survived a 14-7 scare against Deep Pockets.

Only two teams remain perfect: The Brewers (9-0 in Division 5), and the Avengers (8-0) in Elite. Will either teams match the '72 Dolphins or will they succumb to defeat. The last two teams will need to keep their guard up if they don't want to be the losing end of something like this:

The Brewers were unceremoniously knocked off by Pyramid7.com in one of the bigger upsets of the weekend. Pyramid7 started the season 0-9 but has since rebounded by winning three of their last four and ending the dream of an undefeated season for the Brewers. Unfortunately for the Brewers they walked into Pyramid7 and rolled a gutterball.
