Assiniboine Park was cut, squared out, and lined for its first usage of the 2011 season. See what the fields look like (and which attack animal we have guarding this one) here: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/390-assiniboine-park-june-13th

The PIT continues to rotate its stable of 15 fields (and counting, hint hint) to ensure that the fields are kept in the best possible shape for the duration of the season and playoffs.

After resting the field for three weeks we are once again back at Assiniboine Park (Train). The field was give some top soil, cut, and lined with all the extras only found in the PIT. Here are some pics of our handiwork: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/402-assiniboine-park-train-july-24th

Great time of year to have a game in the Park!

Here's the thing about that Train field: when everywhere else is dry and hard, that place is still mostly green and soft. Of course, whenever everywhere else is green and soft, places on that field turn into something of a pond. I'm not complaining, just pointing out that it's possibly the nicest field to do a hard cut on at the moment.

And regardless, it's a nice field to have in the rotation.
