Little Mountain Park was aerated, thatched, cut and lined (field outline) today during our rainstorm/snow storm. Since the post office may shut down due to strike, the PIT is the only organization that delivers despite rain, sleet, or snow! Pictures of our handiwork can be seen here: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/372-little-mountain-park-may-13th-2011 Due to the in-climate weather all the lines were not put down since they would get washed away by the rain and snow. If we survive the ref windup tonight at Winn City we will try to get out to Little Mountain before games start at 9:00am to finish the job.

A reminder to all teams playing at Little Mountain Park that we are in fact at the PARK not the Sportsplex, so don't pay any gate fees! Here is a link to the location: http://www.pitfootball.com/locations There is parking available in the parking lot off Klimpke across for the old fields at the Sportsplex.

For the players, by the players

Hopefully the rain helped LM field, was like a rock last week (May 26),

Is nice not having to pay for parking though!

I don't understand the problem you were having cutter. I sink into all the fields I play on even Little Mountain.

The rain was much needed for Little Mountain (and all the fields in the city). Little Mountain is a great field early in the season when it rains but can dry out very quickly otherwise. We usually have to reschedule a quarter of the games in May and we only had 1 night of rain outs the entire month. In 6 years of scheduling that has never occurred! At any rate, Little Mountain was touched up the other day since the lines were beginning to fade. The pictures can be viewed here: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/381-little-mountain-park-june-1st After Sundays games at Little Mountain we will be moving games to one of our other 15 field locations!

Lining every three weeks, only in the PIT!

The PIT crew wanted to clarify where are Little Mountain Park is actually located. This city run park is adjacent to the Little Mountain complex facility where there is a fee to enter the privately owned facility. Our city field (which has no gate fee) is located within the park on the West side of the
@ park Jefferson ave, and Klimpke rd. This field is great for being able to handle a lot of rain. We have set this field in use for most of our rescheduled games thus far.

You can view the location here: http://www.pitfootball.com/locations

And for the love of God, don't park on the gravel road. You'll get towed without fail.

Little Mountain Park was lined during the brief monsoon we had. The PIT Crew has pneumonia and will probably succumb to it, but nothing is too good for our membership. Here are some pics of our last night on Earth: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/485-little-mountain-park-june-1st-2012

A reminder to all teams, don't pay for parking at Little Mountain Sportsplex!!!!!!! The field is located across the street in the Park with ample parking off Klimpke road (not on the road as Chris pointed out!).

Nicely lined, though don't anyone go diving on this field. I was dumb enough to do it and have a nice gridiron road rash for my efforts (stupid adrenaline). I had a nap this afternoon and dreamt I got flesh-eating disease as a result. Keeping fingers crossed that doesn't happen (at least until they fall off).

Here is some pictures of the first field lining of the year! http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/569-little-mountain-park-thursday-may-9th I am pretty biased, but having said that quite an awesome job for our first crack at it this year.

Little Mountain Park is ready to go. Teams should be reminded that the field is NOT in the Little Mountain Sportsplex but the Park itself. If you pay to get into the Sportsplex you have just given your money away! Players should park in the lot just south of the field and not on the road. You will get towed!

Also there is currently no access to Little Mountain Park off Inkster due to road improvements. Instead the park must be accessed off of Jefferson avenue (google map it!).

Little Mountain was touched up after all the rain on the long weekend wiped out the majority of the lines. Schedule has been put on the back burner as we lined not only Little Mountain, but also River Elm and Old Ex. Lining three fields in one day was another PIT record...and after 8 hours of field lining a record that we don't want to break!

We have many jobs in the PIT, hence the play on the "You only had one job" meme here: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/577-little-mountain-park-may-24th-2013

Little Mountain Park got is last field lining ever last week as we move toward the end of the month and the end of our contract for our most hated field. The dog walkers may have won this battle but once we get Bob Barker after them we won't have to worry about their nonsense anymore.

Should we get him to pass this message along?

Or just beat the sh*t out of them:

Here are some pictures of the end of Little Mountain: http://www.pitfootball.com/albums/582-little-mountain-park-june-10th
Hard to believe we were paying $74 a night for that field...Barker was right, the price is wrong b#tch!
