A few minutes later than expected but the schedule is up!

The fall playoff schedule has been updated following the finalization of some playoff match-ups over the weekend. Check out the playoff schedule here: http://www.pitfootball.com/seasons/552-fall-indoor-2010/games/playoffs
In terms of tie-breakers they break down as follows:
Division 3:
Hojo (1) will play The Jeffrey (2) in the Division 3 final (Ho Jo gets first due to head-to-head victory)
Division 4:
Swaggerville (3) will play Beer Belly Bastards (4) for the Division 4 championship
Levels! (5) will play Hurricanes (6) in the consolation final
Division 5:
Brewers (2) get the tie-breaker over Face Kick (3) due to their head-to-head victory
Division 7:
Gators (2) get the tie-break over Chuggernauts (3) due to their head-to-head victory
Division 8:
Dr. Rockso's (4) sneaks into the playoffs in front of Mongolian Village Destoyers (5) due to their head-to-head victory
Division 9:
Pick 6 (2) gets the tie-breaker over Onslaught (3) due to their head-to-head victory
Division 10:
Skullcaps (1) Butterfingers (2) Play Action Flashers (3) Since all teams tied for first and held a 1-1 record in divisional play. Skullcaps gets first due to the having the best head-to-head plus minus, followed by Butterfingers, then Play Action Flashers
Division 11:
Roughnecks (2) get the tie-break over Can't Touch This (3) due to their head-to-head victory
Division 14
Another three-way tie, with Buccaneers (3) getting third place due to having the best head-to-head plus minus, followed by Kick Butkus (4), and Gamerz (5)

just so you know for scheduling jon, div. 11 could still change if solid oak wins this weekend (3 way tie for 2nd). We gotta win first tho :P

We have had a few teams over the last couple of days ask why their playoff game has yet to be put on the website. Only games in which both teams in a divisional match up are known are placed on the site. There remain a lot of playoff spots on the line this coming Friday. Once those games are completed we will we get the match ups on the site. In the meantime, if you check the first post on this thread you can figure out when you are playing. We don't want any teams to miss a playoff game, so check the website Saturday morning for a complete list of playoff games. Playoffs start Saturday night!

Jon we won last night (Solid Oak) so would we not make the playoffs and get the #3 seed in div. 11? There would be a 3 way tie with the Roughnecks, Can't Touch this, and us. And we were all 1-1 against eachother with the roughnecks the best head to head scores (2 seed), us second best (3 seed), and Can't touch this third best head to head (4 seed). If that is all correct then would we not play tonight versus the Roughnecks and Can't touch this play next friday vs. sons of anarchy?

Yep, the schedule was correct on our master list but incorrect on the site but everything is updated now. Here is how the tie-breakers worked:
Division 6:
Awesome O (2) over Unregistered (3) due to head-to-head victory
Division 8:
Decepticons (2) over Street Meat (3) due to head-to-head victory
Division 9:
Onslaught/Pick6/Mighty Schmucks all tied and were 1-1 in head-to-head play, thus points-for-and-against in head-to-head games were used as the tie breaker. In order were Pick 6 (2) Mighty Schmucks (3) and then Onslaught (4)
Division 11:
Roughnecks/Solid Oak/Can't Touch This all tied and were 1-1 in head-to-head play, thus points-for-and-against in head-to-head games were used as the tie breaker. In order were Roughnecks (2) Solid Oak (3) and then Can't Touch This (4)
Division 12:
Brothers/Trailer Park Boys/Barracudas D all tied. Brothers lost both head-to-head games and thus were relegated to fourth. Barracudas D (2) won the tie-breaker over Trailer Park Boys (3) due to head-to-head victory
Division 13:
Guns of Hoculi (2) over Shockers (3) due to head-to-head victory
Benders (4) over Deep Punts (5) due to head-to-head victory
The three-way tie-breaker system has come into play a few times this fall, looks like we are achieving our goal in most cases in having the most competitive divisions possible.

Not a good night to be the top seed, as three first place finishers got knocked out of the playoffs on Saturday (including two undefeated teams). Any given day in the PIT! The schedule has been updated here: http://www.pitfootball.com/seasons/552-fall-indoor-2010/games/playoffs
Keep in mind that if your team has progressed in the playoffs and are not listed on the schedule it is simply because your playoff opponent has not yet been determined. You can however figure out when you play next by examining the master schedule at the top of this forum thread.
