Calling out all division 1 players!
Due to the overwhelming success of our division 1 league, we will be having a supplemental draft for those players who couldn't get on board for the first half of the season but have indicated to us they would like to join for the second half. The first half of the season ends July 18th with the supplemental draft undertaken in the days following.
The supplemental draft will work as follows: the Div 1 team with the worst record will receive the first overall pick in the supplemental draft, followed by the team with the next worst record. After the team with the best record chooses last in the first round, the next pick once again goes to the team with the worst record. The draft will continue until all players who wish to be added are drafted.
Cost is $40 for the second half of the season (7 games, typically played Sunday evening at Maple Grove).
Just email us to add your name to the draft. Contact info is found here: http://pitfootball.com/contacts Submit your name on or before July 18th to be eligible for the draft.
So far the league has been a blast, thanks to all the players whom have stepped up to play some great ball! Looking forward to add a few more guys wanting to get their football fix.

The supplemental draft order is almost complete. The 3rd and 4th picks in the draft are set, whereas depending the outcomes of the games this weekend either Cleveland or Canton will have the first overall pick in the supplemental draft.
1st Pick: Cleveland Tigers/Canton Bulldogs
2nd Pick: Cleveland Tigers/Canton Bulldogs
3rd Pick: Dayton Triangles
4th Pick: Akron Professionals
Add your name to the draft by July 18th for the second half of the division 1 season.

The 2nd half of the Division 1 draft league kicked off on Saturday with some big time contributions from newcomers Gavin Panchuk, Tom Robson, Ben McGregor, Richard Tkachyk, Kory Stagg and Kevin Esau (among others). Didn't get much of a chance to see everyone play, but Gavin was a force on defence all night for the Cleveland Tigers, Tom kicked off his Akron Professionals career with a couple of TDs, Richard had a highlight reel touchdown catch for the Tigers, Kory Stagg played shut down corner, and Kevin Easu closed the door on the Triangles with a last second interception to seal victory for the Bulldogs. Probably safe to say these guys are going to avoid this list:
