The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for the Winnipeg’s first ever spring indoor season. The spring season will be offered during prime time slots for those teams wanting an edge for outdoor, a chance to get a few more games in before the spring thaw, and for those who simply enjoy the indoor game!
Spring Season Information:
Season Starts: Friday April 16th
Season Ends: Friday May 14th
Playoffs: Friday May 21st
Season will be five weeks (teams play every Friday between April 16th and May 14th)
Game times: Fridays 7:00pm, 8:00pm, 9:00pm and 10:00pm
Costs: $630 (inclusive of GST and insurance)

Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba! However due to the limited supply of prime time hours we will be capping the number of teams in the Spring league at just 32. The registration deadline is noon Saturday April 10th. However, teams should register early to ensure a spot in the league. During the Fall season, 4 teams were unfortunately turned away, in the Winter 13 teams missed the cap. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Teams are encouraged to sign up for the spring league on the website.
Divisional Format:
The Spring league will have 5 divisions; 4 divisions of 6 teams and one division of 8 teams. In divisions of 6 the top 4 will continue to make playoffs, the top 6 teams in the division of 8 qualify for playoffs. All the customary PIT swag to the winners of each division – including each championship team member’s name engraved ‘Stanley Cup’ style on the trophies! Divisions will be aligned according to team calibre. Please note that the division names are temporary. Teams of any skill level are encouraged to register. We will find a competitive division for all teams who are interested in Spring football. If you have any questions, be sure to contact us.
As extra incentive, teams who have paid in full by Thursday April 1st will be eligible for a $50 discount on outdoor registration for the 2010 season! Much more information to follow but you won't be disappointed by what we have in store for outdoor as it is something never before seen in Manitoba...

Almost one-third of our registration for the Spring has now been accounted for. You can view the divisions/teams by clicking on "Teams in the PIT" on the menu bar and then selecting "Spring 2010 Indoor Season" from the drop-down menu.
All information can be found above, but a reminder that early-bird registration for a $50 credit for outdoor season is Thursday April 1st, and there is a cap of only 32 teams!

Three more teams and we are at fifty percent capacity for the Spring session. Play the Spring and get $50 off the Summer fee!

Although it’s quite cold out today, calling for minus twenty overnight, I have to admit that I am looking forward to playing some ball in the warmer weather. Yes, that’s correct the Spring session is coming sooner than we know. Games will be starting at 7pm on Friday nights at the PIT indoor facility, immediately after, cold beers being served while we watch the competition play from a birds eye view. The Spring session regular season is only five weeks long, with 1 game guaranteed each Friday. Spots are filling up faster than we thought so don’t procrastinate too long or you will miss out on the PIT’s first Spring session. We have a skill level for everyone. So check out the Spring session under the teams menu, and use the pull down bar to check out the competition.

Just a reminder that 1 week today is the deadline for early bird registration (Thursday April 1st) for Winnipeg’s first ever spring season. Registering early ensures you get a spot in the league (league is capped at 32 teams) as well as $50 off registration for the PIT 2010 outdoor season. If you miss the early bird, final registration is Saturday April 10th. However you will want to register sooner rather than later. Only 7 spots left for Spring, and the league reserves to close registration once we have hit our cap. With the turn in the weather and the fact that city leagues are starting no earlier than May 15th, (indoor ends May 14th) your team will have a leg up on the competition as you hit the season running!

Reminder that early bird registration closes tomorrow. Act fast to get your $50 off outdoor registration. Otherwise final registration for spring will be due noon Saturday April 10th.

Just a reminder that final registration for Spring indoor is this Saturday May 10th. Hit the season running and get a leg up on your competition, all while playing some prime time indoor football. Regular season runs every Friday from April 16th to May 14th, game times are 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00pm. Teams can request the time of the night they prefer to play. Limited space is still available.

The Spring schedule has been released. Good luck to all teams participating in the five divisions for the first ever Spring season!
A reminder that summer is just around the corner and with the close of Spring registration teams are able to sign themselves up on the site. 3 more teams signed up today, bringing the total number to 45. The league is approaching a 100% growth rate for the year!
