Hi everyone,
Just to clear up some misinterpretations. Divisions in the Players Indoor Touch Football League will be capped at 6 teams to ensure a balanced schedule (each team will play all of their division opponents once). However just because a division might be showing 6 teams under the 'teams' heading, doesn't necessariliy indicate those divisions are capped.
1. Only paid teams have secured a spot. If you look under the 'standings' heading you will find a list of paid teams for each division. Once your team has paid you will show up here. Thus it is imperative that teams pay registration early to ensure a spot. Signing up under the teams page will provide information on calibre of teams in a given division so other teams can place themselves fairly into one division or another.
2. Even if there are more than 6 teams registered in a division, teams may be asked to move up or down based on percieved skill level (this will be determined based on how teams have faired historically, level of play, and calibre of players on the roster). As such you may continue to register in the division that you feel best suits your team, regardless of number of teams currently listed.
