Hi everyone, there are some important rules for the Summer season:
Defaults/Player Additions:
1. Any defaults result in a $75 default fine. That default fine must be payed in full prior to your team's next game (you can add players to avoid a default, just ask us!). The league does not reschedule games unless it is due to rain!
2. Player additions are available throughout the season. Team captains can no longer add players, instead team captains can ask the administration to add players (email to registration@pitfootball.com). Give as much notice as possible! The league administrators reserve the right to deny any player addition if it would cause a player to join two teams in the same division or change the parity of a division.
3. Two objectionable conduct penalties will result in an automatic ejection and a minimum one game suspension. Any OCs taken after a game has ended, or an ejection will result in a additional suspensions.
Coed/Crossover games (flag and touch):
If a team is up by 17-points or more, at any point in the game, the quarterback with the lead is no longer allowed to throw. The quarterback is free to resume throwing if the other team comes within 17 points. The goal is to create more enjoyable/competitive games.
We hope these rules will make the games more enjoyable and competitive for our players and officials. We will reserve the right to reevaluate these rules at any time to promote the betterment of the league.
