Hi everyone, there are some important rules for the Winter season:

Playoff eligibility:
1. A player must attend a minimum of six games to be eligible for playoffs for 7v7, four games for 5v5. Division 1 players must make a minimum of eight (7v7) and six (5v5) to be eligible for teams in other division. Attendance will be tracked by the game cards/website. If there is a discrepancy, the website will be considered correct.

Defaults/Player Additions:
1. Any defaults result in a $75 default fine. That default fine must be payed in full prior to your team's next game (you can add players to avoid a default).
2. Player additions are available throughout the season. Team captains can no longer add players, instead team captains can ask the administration to add players (email to registration@pitfootball.com). Give as much notice as possible! Division 1 players cannot be added to any rosters now that the deadline has past. The league administrators reserve the right to deny any player addition if it would cause a player to join two teams in the same division or change the parity of a division.
3. Division 1 teams can no longer pick up players from Divisions 2 or 3 mid-season. Spares must come from lower divisions or outside of the league.
4. Three objectionable conduct penalties will remain an automatic ejection and a minimum one game suspension, however if one of those OC's is for officials abuse, the player will be automatically ejected after TWO OC's. If one of the two OC's (or more) were for officials abuse, an automatic one game suspension will apply. Additionally, every OC taken after a game has ended, or an ejection will result in a additional suspensions. A reminder, an official can always eject a player after one instance of official's abuse (or player abuse) if warranted (this has always been the rule).
5. Any teams found to intentionally lose a game will be removed from the league with no refund provided.

If a team is up by 17-points or more, at any point in the game, the quarterback with the lead is no longer allowed to throw. The quarterback is free to resume throwing if the other team comes within 17 points. The goal is to create more enjoyable/competitive games. The 17-point rule will not apply in after realignment.

We hope these rules will make the games more enjoyable and competitive for our players and officials. We will reserve the right to reevaluate these rules at any time to promote the betterment of the league.

Thanks everyone. Enjoy your season!
