Messages for Spring 2024 Playoff Tiebreakers

Playoffs begin Friday May 3rd and culminate on Saturday May 11th. Please understand, we cannot take playoff schedule requests - everyone knew when playoffs were! We can only consider the conflicts listed on the original schedule request forms. If players from other teams were added during the season, we cannot include those conflicts. We cannot work around Jets playoff games.

With a week left in the schedule we have a couple of divisions that are set. The rest will come down to the final weekend!
Coed Division 1:

All teams had identical 1-1 head-to-head matchups. Plus/minus in those head-to-head games would decide the first tiebreaker. Bye Week finish third with a plus/minus of +25 (Bomber Boyz +5, Legal Team -30). Tiebreakers revert back to head-to-head once the first tie is broken. Bomber Boyz takes the final seed due to their defeat of the Legal Team head-to-head.

All teams had identical 1-1 head-to-head matchups. Plus/minus in those head-to-head games would decide the first tiebreaker. Everdeadlys finish third with a plus/minus of +2 (Cheeky Pints +1, Rad Salad -3). Tiebreakers revert back to head-to-head once the first tie is broken. Rat Salad takes the final seed due to their defeat of Cheeky Pints head-to-head.

Crusty Crusaders (1) vs Original 16 Free Agents (4)
Tapps Free Agents (2) vs Back Yard Bullies (3)
A three-way tie between Original 16 Free Agents, Tapps Free Agents, and Backyard Bullies for second place! All teams had identical 1-1 head-to-head matchups. Plus/minus in those head-to-head games would decide the first tiebreaker. Tapps finish second with a plus/minus of +7 (Original 16 +4, Backyard Bullies -11). Tiebreakers revert back to head-to-head once the first tie is broken. Backyard Bullies finish third due to their defeat of the Original 16 free agents head-to-head.

The Dream Team take the top seed after crushing Gotham. Gotham in turn takes the second seed by overpowering Red Light with the Bat signal.

Brewers (2) vs Fail Mary (3)
A three-way tie between Down 2 Football, Fail Mary, and Ricky Bobby for third-place means one team is unfortunately on the outside looking in for playoffs. All teams had identical 1-1 head-to-head matchups. Plus/minus in those head-to-head games would decide the first tiebreaker. Fail Mary finish third with a plus/minus of +11 (Down 2 Football +8, Ricky Bobby -19). Tiebreakers revert to head-to-head once the first tie is broken. Down 2 Football takes the final seed due to their defeat over Ricky Bobby head-to-head.

Scranton takes the top seed by virtue of their head-to-head victory over Brady. Goodell and the Paper Tigers had 1-2 records head-to-head and would receive the third and fourth seeds. Goodell defeated the Paper Tigers heads up and will receive the third seed. Amazing parity!
