There has been some changes to the summer schedule. Very few teams are affected, but each team should check their schedules and update them accordingly.
After the July 9th games we will be realigning the divisions to ensure parity down the stretch and that everyone has an equal chance of winning a divisional championship. Once realigned we will remove the 17-point rule for quarterbacks unless there are crossovers (the original intent of the rule).
The second half of the season is slightly longer. Teams had asked for fewer games in July and August. We are attempting to accommodate that request. Additionally, mid August we go down to one game a night due to the sun setting earlier. You will notice that your second half schedules will be more spread out as a result (barring rain outs!).
The league has tried it upmost to act on the suggestions of scheduling and divisional parity. Your constructive feedback is always welcomed and appreciated. Good luck to all teams the rest of summer!
