U12 RECREATIONAL DIVISION:

The Football Manitoba Spring league regular season concludes this Thursday. We will be updating tiebreakers each evening prior to the finals held at IGF this weekend! Below are the tiebreakers and final standings.

The tiebreaker system is as follows:
1. Most Wins
2. Head-to-head
3. Overall points against
4. Overall score differential
5. Win percentage (unless there was an unequal number of games played, then this becomes the first tiebreaker)
6. Score for
7. Strength of schedule
********In the event that three or more teams are tied, if two (or more) teams remain tied after one team has been eliminated from the tie-breaker system during any step, the tie breaker reverts back to step 1 of the tie-breaker system.
********In the event that teams did not play an equal number of games in the regular season, points percentage will decide standings for playoffs.

U12 Rec A Division:
St. Vital Snipers (1) vs Gotham Knights (4)
Fireballs (2) vs Stingers (3)
Stingers, Gotham Knights, Prowlers, and Spartans were all tied for third place! Gotham Knights and Fireballs secure the final seeds in A Division due to having more wins (9-3 vs 8-2-2). Since the two teams did not play each other in the regular season, overall points for and against was used with Stingers narrowly edging Gotham Knights for third place.

U12 Rec B Division:
Spartans (1) vs Ryerson BGC (4)
Prowlers (2) vs Buckeyes (3)
Spartans and Prowlers had identical records, and their lone head-to-head match-up also ended in a tie! Spartans take the top seed in B Division with the best overall points against. Ryerson BGC and Lightning Strike had identical records, identical points for, identical points against, and did not play each other during the season. The odds of this happening are astronomical! Overall strength of schedule was used to break the tie. Ryerson BGC secures the third seed due to their harder strength of schedule (.5942 vs .5035).

U12 Rec C Division:
Lightning Strike (1) vs Tailgators (4)
Challengers (2) vs Fever Pitch (3)
Tailgators take the fourth seed due to their head-to-head victory over the Regulators during the regular season.

U12 Rec D Division:
Regulators (1) vs St. Vital Bulldogs (4)
Dashing Devils (2) vs Dominators (3)
Dominators take the third seed due to their head-to-head victory over the St. Vital Bulldogs

South Junior Kings (2) vs Southside Sonics (3)
