It is that time of year again to pay homage to some of the touch football greats that have played in Manitoba. We have another stellar group of players and contributors as part of the 2021 Hall of Fame class!

Our first inductee into the 2021 HOF class is Kerry Surinx whose touch football career is spanning over 30 years.

Congratulations to Kerry Surinx who was inducted into the 2021 Manitoba Touch Football Hall of Fame in the Current Players category.
"To be considered for selection in the Player's Hall of Fame, a player must have led the league in one or more statistical categories on a minimum of ten different occasions. Those ten occasions may come from any division and include statistical leaders in both indoor and outdoor seasons. Players may also be considered if they have played a minimum of ten years of football (both inside and outside of the PIT) and have reached a level of success (as measured by sportsmanship, productivity, and perseverance) in lieu of leading the league in statistics in ten or more seasons. Players need not play on the same team for the duration of their statistical successes."

A few highlights of Kerry's touch football career:

2-time Winnipeg Touch Football Champion with the Banditos
2-time PIT Football Champion
3-time touchdown pass leader PIT
A dominant player in CANFORD (which doesn't have stats) when he starrred for the YardApes
Played in the toughest era of Division 1 football (Assassins, Eagles, Heat, Avengers, Doggs, etc. etc.)
