With the season winding down this summer, we want to extend an invitation to all of our team captains to join us for the team captain all-star game. Being a team captain can be difficult and with the various things occurring in the world currently, it adds an extra layer of complexity to field a team! Here are the details for our all-star game and festivities:

When: Saturday October 2nd
Where: Nomads Game Field 581 McPhillips Street
Time: 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Post Game: Four Crowns Restaurant and Bar located at 1030 McPhillips Street (just down the street!) Must be 18+ and double vaxxed for entry to the post game.
Deadline to RSVP: Friday October 1st at noon (RSVP to registration@pitfootball.com)
Teams will be put together by the league and posted Friday evening

Each captain will receive:
A gift certificate for a free pitcher of Original 16 courtesy of Four Crowns and Original 16
A all-star game t-shirt
Entry into the post-game festivities where the PIT will treat all players to either Original 16 or a soft drink of your choice for the non-drinkers
Entry into any of the skills competitions which will have some additional great prizes available from O16 and Capital K distillery

We will also have the following events available for players to participate in:
Fastest player
Longest throw
QB challenge/accuracy
Longest field goal

We want to ensure that we treat our team captains well! We hope captains can come out. If the team captain cannot come out they can nominate a player from their team to take their place.

A reminder that the deadline for team captains to RSVP for the all-star game is Friday at noon! Lots of prizes and festivities planned for those who put in the effort to run a team. Our way of giving back to the captains.

The game will begin at 2:00pm at Nomads field (581 McPhillips). Players are requested to show up no later than 1:45pm to pick up their jersey and get acquainted/set up the offence and defence prior to game start.

At half time we will have the following events
* Fastest person
* Longest throw
* Longest field goal
* QB accuracy
We will have lots of prizes for winners from our sponsors at Tweed, Original 16, and Capital K.

After the game we will be heading to Four Crowns restaurant for the after-party where the league will pick up the tab for Original 16 pitchers. Four Crowns is located at 1030 McPhillips (just down the street from Nomads).
