Since Chris Harwood (Hall of Famer!) posted about the great game they had against Blast from the Past, I got to thinking about how more teams should really discuss/post about the positives. So piggy-backing on Chris' forum post, I would like to send a shout out to Peg City.
The Guild was significantly short players tonight, and had to pick up almost an entire team of spares to play against one of the top teams in the province. If Peg City wanted to go full send they would have won the game 60-0. But Peg City kept the intensity level low, and while the final score was flattering to the Guild, the game was never in doubt. Thanks for making the game fun, we definitely appreciated the gesture and sportsmanship!
