Is the 2019 Hall of Fame class the best so far? We will leave that up to you to decide. We will be updating our 2019 Hall of Fame Class this week as we pay homage to some of the greatest touch football players in Manitoba history!
Kanwal Saran is the first player to be inducted in the 2019 class, and he was inducted in the Veterans category.
"To be considered for selection in the Veterans category a player’s or Team's competitive career must have primarily occurred prior to 2008 (the inaugural year of the PIT Football League), or have been retired from active playing for a minimum of two years. There is no minimum win or statistical criterion to be selected for this category as many statistics were not kept prior to 2008. Players and/or teams from all leagues in Manitoba's History of Touch Football may be considered in the Veterans category as we pay homage to the pioneers of the game of touch football."
A few highlights:
Touch Football National Champion (2011 - Calgary)
Flag Football National Champion (2003 - Toronto)
One of only two players in Manitoba history to have both a touch football and a flag football National Championship
4-time interception leader in Division 1 of PIT Football
1-time interception leading the the WTFL

The PIT Crew would like to congratulate Kanwal on his well deserved selection into the Manitoba Touch Football Hall of Fame!
