Swiss Chalet is back this Winter to once again reward our players of the week (POW). Each week we will select from the MVPs and pull a name to win two dinners courtesy of Swiss Chalet! The gift certificates are valid at the Swiss Chalet Kenaston location (1663 Kenaston Blvd), so that players can fuel up prior to their games at the U of M.
Our first POW goes to Jose Cohen, who has already amassed two MVP votes through just three weeks of the season, putting him in a tie for third in MVP voting. Jose players for either the best named team in Football (or worst depending on your opinion), the Jon Franklins. While I had never met Jose before this season, I hope to be able go live up to his MVP voting legacy as I currently have zero votes.

Brendan Scott is your second Swiss Chalet Player of the Week award winner! Brendan also has amassed two POW awards and sits tied for 3rd in MVP voting. In his most recent game, Brendan had a monster game with four sacks, one interception, a touchdown pass and a safety, hitting every stat possible! Its pretty rare for someone to get a quadruple stat game, and for that Brendan will enjoy a gift certificate for two free dinners courtesy of Swiss Chalet!
Brendan will be much more than a one-hit wonder, he is going to have a great PIT career ahead of him!

Travis Irvine is your third Swiss Chalet Player of the Week award winner! Travis hit his stride and his first MVP in a recent Touched By Angels game in which he had a monster game on offense. Travis currently leads his team in points as well as circus catches. The family combo of Garth to Travis is a beautiful thing to watch as they always seem to know how to push the ball downfield. Defenses take note, or you will see Travis blowing past you to the end zone.
Travis could show these guys a thing or two!

Christian Scerbo of the Butt Fumblers is the newest Swiss Chalet Player of the Week after getting an MVP nod after one of their recent games. Christian is currently tied for the team lead on points and second in touchdown passes showing that he is a dual threat on the offensive side of the ball…unlike this guy:

The Untouchables Ryan Dyck will be enjoying a dinner courtesy of Swiss Chalet for his recent play. Ryan is tied for 5th in the Division 15 interception race and is tied for second on his team in scoring.
Ryan has had a great individual season and just two off his individual best for interceptions in a season!

Derek Hawley of That One Brown Guy is lighting up the scoreboard, currently sitting in 6th in scoring in Division 19. Not only does he lead his team in scoring, if he scores two more points this season he will set a personal best in scoring for a season. For having a break out campaign Derek will receive a dinner courtesy of Swiss Chalet!
