Manitoba's newest steakhouse located at One Wellink Drive, in Lockport Manitoba is back to sponsor a weekly player of the week award! Red River Steak Company's mission statement is to offer a unique dining experience in a fabulous venue, where all our steaks are cooked on a wood-fired grill, for a taste that is unmatched by any other restaurant.
Our first recipient of a free steak dinner courtesy of RRSC is Steven Hadallar of the Superheroes. Steven has captained the Superheroes in two of the most thrilling indoor games in the fall. While the Superheroes are currently 0-2, both of their games were high scoring battles in which the games came down to the last drives. Division 4 looks unreal and with all teams making playoffs in that division it will be anyone's guess who will be holding the trophy at the end!
Perhaps we should ask Carl from ATHF who his Division 4 lock will be?

Matt Nikkel is back and he is throwing dimes! If people want to watch one of the best up and coming quarterbacks in the province go and watch a Monstars game. In week #2 Matt threw for three touchdowns and had about 100 yards rushing in a fantastic run and gun game against one of the best defenses in division 3. The game came down to the last play, and while the Monstars rally fell a little short, the clinic that Matt put on earned him POW honours!
Matt is a stone cold lock for multiple championships in his PIT career!

Justin Reid is our Week #3 player of the week, striking gold for Goldbone! Justin is yet another PIT rookie lighting up the stats leaderboard, leading or tied for his team lead in points, interceptions and TD passes. Justin is proving to be a multidimensional player on both sides of the ball. Give Goldbone a few more games in the PIT to learn the game and they will be a lock to cash in on the gold rush.

The Pylons Austin Eliuk moves into a tie for the interception lead in Division 17 and in the process wins the Red River Steak Company player of the week award. Demonstrating he is not only a defensive wizard, Austin has filled in at the QB position and has added five TD passes to his resume. Playing both sides of the ball is a steak-worthy accomplishment!

Caleb Gibbs of Get Your Picks Hard is the newest Red River Steakhouse Player of the week. After registering four sacks for GYPH, Caleb is second in division 9 in QB take-downs, not bad for a rookie playing in one of the toughest divisions. When you average over a sack a game, you earn your stripes and a steak dinner courtesy of our sponsors, and that is a lock!
