Our record breaking fall season begins in earnest tomorrow (October 27th), teams are reminded of the following:
1. All players must fill out an insurance waiver. We are in a new insurance year so you must resign your waivers. If you aren't filling out a waiver you are not covered in the event of injury. Insurance waiver forms can be found here: http://pit.redzoneleagues.com/league_files
Team captains are strongly encouraged to print off extras as you know someone from your team is going to forget theirs! All waiver forms can be handed into the officials at your first game. Any league claiming you don't have to fill out forms is a way of saying you are not covered in the event of injury. We want to protect all of our players.
2. Teams should have two sets of jerseys/shirts in case you have the same colored jersey as your opponents. The team with the most complete set of identical jerseys will be allowed to keep theirs, so always bring two colors.
3. We will be giving out sportsmanship awards all season. Fair play, camaraderie, and fun are the hallmarks of the league. Those that display sportsmanship will be rewarded!
4. The lounges at both complexes are now open for business! We will have a lot of promotions and contests. The new management is excited to have the PIT involved with their lounges. Take a picture and either send it to us to post to social media or tag us on Twitter or Instagram @PITFootball and we will be giving away prizes to teams all season. Please support our local businesses and frequent their establishments this season. The lounges are fully licensed and will be offering a full menu and of course beverages! Since you are already their take a photo of your team in the lounge and win some prizes along the way! If we can show our support the lounges are willing to work with us for exclusive PIT specials.
5. Be sure to be at games a bit early to get organized, locker rooms are available at the front desks when you arrive. In the North you will have the locker room for your team so you can lock your belongings in the room, in the South you may share a locker room however you do have a key to a large locker in the room in which teams can store their belongings. No bags, jackets and such are permitted on the sidelines for safety reasons.
