The standings page is now updated to include all the tiebreaker scenarios for the Spring season. A record number of indoor teams means that there are a record number of tiebreakers to go through. A link to the full tiebreaker rules can be found here: http://pitfootball.com/menu/indoor-rules
Coed Competitive:
Two Minute Drill (1) vs Bloodbath and Beyond (2)
Coed Recreational:
The Super Dillos (1) vs Coed Free Agents (2)
Division 1:
Guild of Calamitous Intent (1) vs Knights (2)
Division 2: Beerhawks (1) vs Mapetown (2)
Beerhawks receive the number 1 seed by defeating Mapetown by just a single point in the regular season.
Division 3:
Flying Squirrels (1) vs Yo Belichek Yoself (4)
The Kings (2) vs Knighthawks (3)
Division 4:
Dez Dropped It (1) vs Patiala Island (4)
Law Firm (2) vs South Bay (3)
Dez Dropped it takes the regular season title by their regular season victory over Law Firm. Southbay receives the third seed by defeating Patiala Island head-to-head.
Division 5:
The Dark Side (1) vs Team Fit Body (4)
Blue Bongers (2) vs Young Guns (3)
Since this division had an unequal schedule and the teams who were tied did not play each other, plus/minus overall in the division was used to break the ties.
Division 6:
Anvils (1) vs Average Sized Giants (4)
Mooseknuckles (2) vs Spanish Channel News (3)
Anvils take top spot in the division by defeating the Mooseknuckles heads up in the regular season.
Division 7:
The Tribe (1) vs Danger Zone (4)
Ten Toes Down (2) vs What are Saturdays For? (3)
The Tribe defeated Ten Toes Down during the regular season to win the divisional crown. Quite a few first-place ties across the divisions!
Division 8:
Snipers (1) Bye
Boozers (2) vs Bad News Kennels (3)
Masters/Division 8:
Frankford Yellow Jackets (1) Bye
Dayton Triangles (2) vs Tonawanda Kardex (3)
Division 9:
Unwanted All Stars (1) vs Italian Stallions (4)
Rolling 7s (2) vs Outlaws (3)
Rolling 7s capture second place due to their head-to-head victory over the Outlaws, while Italian Stallions did same by defeating We the Hawks capturing the final playoff spot along the way.
Division 10:
Fail Mary (1) vs Charleswood Chargers (4)
No Oddjob Allowed (2) vs Touched by Angels (3)
Another tie at the top, this time Fail Mary captures first by defeating No Oddjob Allowed by 1 point during the regular season! Parity reigns.
Division 11:
Team Potato Wedges (1) vs Gotham Knights (4)
Venum (2) vs The Dragons (3)
Division 12:
The Avengers (1) vs Down To Football (4)
Julio Think You Are? (2) vs Fuerto Rico Footballers (3)
Division 13:
Medal and Company (1) vs Damn Yankees (4)
Loose Cannons (2) vs Dilligafs (3)
Division 14:
The Rocks (1) vs Tittsburg Feelers (4)
Young, Wild and Free (2) vs Team Lake Squadron (3)
Young, Wild and Free take the second seed by virtue of their regular season victory over Team Lake Squadron.
Division 15:
Suskskatchewan 2 (1) vs Savage AF (4)
TD Twisters (2) vs Back That Pass Up (3)
Back that Pass Up sneaks into the third spot by winning their final regular season game combined with a default loss by Savage AF on the last weekend of the season which dropped them two points in the standings and into a tie with BTPU. The first tiebreaker of defaults relegated Savage AF to fourth place.
The playoffs for next weekend will be up tonight! Good luck to all teams in their quest for championship glory.
