I would just like to take a moment to give a shout-out props and say thanks to The Jeffrey.
This team embodies the meaning of sportsmanship and fair play.
On two or three occasions over the last several years my team has only had 6 guys show up to play them. Rather than play with 7 and destroy us, The Jeffrey were the ones to suggest they only play with 6 to make it fair, eventhough they had 9 or 10 at the game. In our last game they were even trying to give us one of their guys so we could play 7 on 7 lol...
While we all like to win, at the end of the day rec sports is about having fun first, getting out with your friends, getting some competitive juices flowing, etc.. It's not about padding stats or blowing teams out when they are short handed.
You don't see this kind of sportsmanship very often, so I wanted to give a shout out to them and say thanks.
We need more teams like The Jeffery in this league!
