The Skills competition was a great success as we crowned one repeat champion and three new champs!
Longest Throw: Keith Bourgeois (Guild of Calamitous Intent) winner with a throw of 54 yards in the air. Keith is the first repeat champion of this event having taken the longest throw competition in 2015.
Longest Punt: Jamie Wilson (Cobras) winner with a kick of 58 yards in the air. We switched things up from the field goal kicking contest as Adrenaline does not have goal posts. Jamie won both the preliminary heat and the finals heat with two monster punts.
QB Challenge: Justin Stewart (Beerhawks) was the dark horse winner defeating all of the guys who quarterback for a recreational living. Justin did more than one shot of tequila for winning this event!
Fastest Man: Jamie Wilson (Cobras). The races were unreal as almost all ProBowlers participated in this event and we had to run multiple heats. In the finals it came down to a photo finish with Keith, Jamie and Blayze Swerid (Law Firm) all crossing nearly simultaneously. After checking the camera it was ruled a dead head between Jamie and Blayze who just nudged out the two-time defending champ Keith Bourgeois. With no three-peat for Keith we had yet another run-off with Jamie taking the final heat to become a two-time winner at the ProBowl.
Thanks to all of our participants it was a great game, the events were closely contested and of course the aftermath was definitely fun for all of those who participated.
