For the eight consecutive year the PIT Crew would like to award all of those unsung heroes who chase around their teammates for registration money, ensure players get to the field, work around the schedules of others, deal with day-to-day drama, and generally go gray with the joys of organizing recreational touch football. Without the captains of each of our member teams the PIT would not exist. Team captains might not lead their respective divisions in points, TD passes, interceptions, or sacks, but they are the true all-stars and should be acknowledged as such.
What better way to do so then to invite all of our outdoor team captains to our 8th annual captains all-star game? We are continuing the tradition by holding the all-star game at Adrenaline Adventures on Saturday August 20th 4:00pm. To account for the large number of players two games will be held, and for the first time the games will be held at the same time. During half time we will have each of our four events (fastest man, longest throw, QB accuracy and longest punt) with some great swag from our sponsors to be handed out to the winners. Beers to follow after the game at the Water's Edge lounge at Adrenaline courtesy of the PIT. If the team captain cannot make the game they may choose a player on their team to represent them in the all-star game if their significant other forbids them to play.
All team captains in attendance will receive all-star t-shirts courtesy of Harv-al and be eligible to win some great swag from our sponsors. Team captains must register for the all-star game by Wednesday August 17th to be eligible for the game. To register, team captains should email Jon or reply to this post. All team captains who are registered will have their names placed on the homepage with the four all-star teams created from that list. More info on prizes and itinerary to come.

Team captains are reminded that they now have less than 10 days to register for the all star game. If the team captain cannot attend then a representative may be chosen to go in their place.

And yes even our Pro Bowl will have the requisite three football referees in attendance!

A reminder that Wednesday is the final day to submit your team's representative at the all-star game.

Reminder that today is the last day to send a representative to the ProBowl this upcoming Saturday. Lots of swag, gift certificates and post game festivities.
Justin Stewart may be Mic'd Up for our Pro Bowl. He could out trash talk these guys!
And of course the half time skillz competition for some great prizes courtesy of our sponsors!
