The PIT has officially begun its formal evaluation of all of our referees. If you see Cliff Kitchen out at any of he games he is conducting both a written and verbal evaluation so please share your thoughts with him. Referees will be evaluated on timing, hustle, rule knowledge and interpretation, positioning, preventative officiating among other things. The PIT has the best referees in recreational sports but we know that things can always be improved. Ideally Cliff, who has refereed at the National level and runs our officials clinics, can make our referees that much better. Upon receiving feedback referees will be evaluated again at a later point in the year to ensure they have incorporated Cliff's suggestions.
