Keep in mind the last time the city reviewed athletic fields the cost to rent them went up 105%! Talk with your counselors, realistically you are the only ones who can prevent an increase in rental rates.
Keep in mind the city already doesn't cut the grass often nor does it line any fields anymore for any league that is not youth. The PIT is the only recreational sports league with its own field lining and field cutting crew. Any changes to the already poor system will just make it worse for all leagues, especially those without the means to purchase their own equipment.
