The 2016 referee certification clinic will be held Wednesday April 27th at the Quality Inn (635 Pembina Hwy - Winn City Pub). The clinic will run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm with post game festivities at Winn City Pub afterwards. The clinic will be run by Cliff Kitchen, the league disciplinarian and nationally certified head referee.
Learn the rules of the game and set yourself up to earn money! For those that want to earn some extra money you can work causal, part time or full time over the summer months. You make your own schedule! What's better than earning some cash in your free time while taking in some fresh air? For those that just want to learn the rules better to make yourself a better player, you are also more than welcome to attend.
Cost $0. Not only is there no cost the PIT will provide all attendees with a rule book and buy everyone a beverage at Winn City Pub at the conclusion of the clinic. Today is the last day to RSVP for the referee clinic on Wednesday. If you want to create your own work schedule over the summer and earn some extra cash, the clinic is the place to be! We still have a few spots available so contact us if you want to earn your stripes!

The official's clinic went off without a hitch as our Disciplinarian Cliff Kitchen taught some newbies the rules and went over interpretations with some of the vets. Over 20 referees attended the clinic and you should be seeing some new faces donning the stripes this summer. Many of the new refs bring plenty of playing experience so the learning curve shouldn't be to steep! You will be seeing most of the new referees training over the first couple weeks of the season.
A big thanks to the Quality Inn for hosting the clinic and to Winn City Pub from providing the post-clinic hospitality.
