Boston Pizza is back sponsoring the PIT membership for the duration of the Spring 2016 season. Boston Pizza has generously provided a personal pizza to enjoy at any of Winnipeg's Boston Pizza locations to the player deemed to have exemplified sportsmanship, dedication and mad skillz each weekend.

The first Boston Pizza Player of the Week (POW) goes to Phil Siemens of the Knighthawks who 'ballhawked his way to 25 points including two Hail Mary catches...in the same game! Those 25 points led his team to victory over the U20 Provincial Flag Football team in a 41-35 barn burner. The U20 team had a chance to tie the game up with their own Hail Mary attempt which just missed in an epic game. Not surprisingly Phil has jumped out to the Division 3 scoring lead, but can he keep up the record pace? We will find out in four short weeks!

Thank you Phil for that magnificent bounty of scoring.

Give cooking the finger and hit up Boston Pizza after your games for some great team specials on pizzas and beer.

Congratulations, your Boston Pizza GC will be attached to a future game card.

Sean Wagner of The Bill Arnotts is the second Boston Pizza Player of the Week (POW). Sean and the Bill Arnotts had two games on the weekend going 1-1 with Sean picking up 13 points and three interceptions over those two games. Through two weeks of the season Sean is in the top 10 in both interceptions (1st) and points (6th) in Division 10 demonstrating that he is a force on both sides of the ball.

We will see if Sean can keep up this torrid pace or if he is eventually put on IR with a dislocated hangnail.

Brent Kaptein of Here for Beer fame becomes the third Boston Pizza Player of the Week (POW) award winner. Brent scored 13 points on offense and put up two interceptions on defense to lead Here for Beer to their first victory of the season. With those stats added to his collection, Brent is now 4th in interceptions and fifth in scoring in Division 9. With his Boston Pizza coupon he could probably add a few beers to his total as well.

Brent will continue smashing tall boys in his forehead once he learns of his POW.

Keith Bourgeois of the Beerhawks wins the newest Boston Pizza Player of the Week (POW) award winner after putting a check mark next to every conceivable statistic Saturday night when his team played Remember the Bisons. After going 0-5 in the Winter the Beerhawks have done a complete 180 and capped off an undefeated season in no small part to Keith's 6 points, 1 interception, three sacks and five touchdown passes he dropped on his opponents. Keith finished first in Division 2 in touchdown passes and second in sacks.

Keith dropped so many touchdowns on teams in Division two that he has run out of post-TD dance routines!
