Messages for 2016 Team Captain All-Star Game

For the seventh year running the PIT Crew would like to award all of those unsung heroes who chase around their teammates for registration money, ensure players get to the field, work around the schedules of others, deal with the day-to-day drama and generally go gray with the joys of organizing recreational touch football. Without the captains of each of our member teams the PIT would not exist. Team captains might not lead their respective divisions in points, TD passes, interceptions, or sacks, but they are the true all-stars and should be acknowledged as such.

What better way to do so then to invite all of our indoor team captains to our 7th annual captains all-star game? We are continuing the tradition by holding the all-star game at the indoor complex on Sunday February 14th at 10:30pm. Its the long weekend and you can tell your significant other to forego the overpriced Hallmark holiday that is Valentine's day because you are heading the ProBowl! Beers to follow at the onsite lounge courtesy of the PIT. Team captains may choose a player on their team to represent them in the all-star game if their significant other forbids them to play.

All team captains in attendance will receive all-star t-shirts courtesy of Harv-al and be eligible to win some great swag from our sponsors. Team captains must register for the all-star game by Tuesday February 9th to be eligible for the game. To register, team captains should email Jon or reply to this post. All team captains who are registered will have their names placed on the homepage with the four all-star teams created from that list. More info on prizes and itinerary to come.

Congratulations to each team captain who will represent their team in the 2016 all-star game! Only in the PIT!

A reminder that teams have until Tuesday February 9th to register their team captain/representative for the all-star game! We have had a pretty good turnout so far, all of those team captains currently registered can be found on the homepage. Still room for others however to join in the festivities and to receive some great swag from our sponsors!

Maybe we will mike you up!

Tomorrow is the final date to register for the PIT ProBowl! The ProBowl will be held Sunday February 14th at 10:30pm. Teams will be set up by Thursday with lots of free swag to the players courtesy of our many sponsors. Team captains may nominate a player on their team to go (please confirm they can attend first!) if they themselves are unable to make it.

Hi everyone, please keep in mind the following rules for tonight's game

No quarterback can play more than a half under any circumstances. Quarterbacks must also spread the ball around or risk a drop kicking from our referees.
Teams must rotate the rusher
Everyone must have fun!!!

All teams have large rosters so we must ensure everyone is rotating in. In addition we may make a couple of roster changes in anyone doesn't show up to ensure all teams have an equal number of players.

When you arrive at 10:00pm please go upstairs and find your shirts. Tentative rosters are posted above the shirts so you know who is on your team and what color shirt to take.
Drinks to follow the game in the lounge.
