The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its eighth season of Winter indoor football. The largest and fastest growing touch football league in Canada will be offering divisions of skill from elite to beginner. New this year is the under 20 flag division in which the winning team will represent Manitoba in the National championships in Nova Scotia in May!!!! Eligible players must not turn 20 in the 2016 calendar year. We will also be returning both the coed division (minimum two girls on the field at a time) and the Master's Division (eligibility requirement being 40+ years of age, may turn 40 during season and still be eligible).

As our membership has come to expect the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!

Winter 2016 Indoor Season Information:
Season Starts: Friday January 8th
Season Ends: Saturday March 26th
Start times: Fridays/Saturdays, most days start at 10:15pm but there are some earlier and later times for certain dates
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs. Teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 games; each game is 1 hour in duration.
Registration Deadline: Sunday January 3rd (the league will sell out much earlier!)
League Cap: 132 Teams
Cost: $675 if paying by Interac Etransfer (inclusive of GST and insurance)
Cost: $700 if paying by any other method (inclusive of GST and insurance)
Teams may schedule off any weekends with the exception of playoffs

The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash, certified cheque, and interac e-transfers accepted. Cheques are payable to PIT FOOTBALL CORP. Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba. However, due to the limited supply of available fields we will be capping the number of teams in the Winter at just 132! Although the registration deadline for the Winter season is Sunday January 3rd, teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. The Winter season has sold out each year since our first season and we will assuredly be sold out once again prior to the deadline date. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Don't get left out in the cold, the earlier you register the better chance you will be playing in Manitoba's largest and fastest growing touch football league.

Divisions will be aligned according to 25 different levels of skill for the Winter. Two days in the and Winter league is already over 25% sold out. 34 teams are currently signed up for the Winter which traditionally is our fastest selling season. Teams as always are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure they get for the season. While January 3rd is technically the last day of registration I definitely wouldn't wait that long!

Just over a week in and we are now over 50% full for the Winter season! Don't get left out in the cold (which will eventually hit Winnipeg, but lets enjoy it while we can). With all the attention to the U20 division this week we have yet to really roll out registration for coed, Masters, or the free agents which will inevitably start to eat up more space in our Winter season.
