With the season in the stretch run all players should make sure they are eligible for their respective teams playoffs! Here is the pertinent information from our outdoor rules which are listed in full here: http://pitfootball.com/menu/outdoor-rules

Playoff Eligibility (General):

Players must play a minimum of six games to be eligible for playoffs.
Players will not receive credit for a game played unless they have shown up to the game prior to halftime.
Team representatives should monitor all game card entries to ensure players make their six games. The league will not go back to check previous game cards in the event there is a discrepancy between the website and team. The website will be considered accurate.
All games played by teams with ineligible players will incur a default loss as well as a default fine.

Playoff Eligibility (Players in Divisions Elite through Three):

Players from Elite through division three will now have to play a minimum of nine games (half the season) to be eligible for playoffs in any divisions lower than the highest division they play in (such players still only have to make six games on their highest division team to be eligible for playoffs). Thus a player who plays in Division one, if they are also on a division four roster, they must must make nine games for the division four team to be eligible for playoffs. A division four player however will not have to make nine games for a division six team. That player may still be eligible for playoffs by attending six games for each team as this the rule only applies for players in Divisions Elite through three.

The key here is that the website will be considered accurate. Teams and players consistently check their stats so come playoffs when someone says that they were at a game in say June that was missed the league WILL NOT add a game to their totals so they can be eligible for playoffs. All players must keep track of their games played. So please make sure you get your requisite games in before the end of the season!

All posted over a month ago players must have 6 games to be eligible for playoffs unless they play in Divisions Elite through three in which every team they play below their top division those players must make nine games. For Flag this year one game will be enough for playoffs with the shortened season.

THE WEBSITE WILL BE CONSIDERED ACCURATE! Teams and players consistently check their stats so come playoffs when someone says that they were at a game in say June that was missed the league WILL NOT add a game to their totals so they can be eligible for playoffs. Each team can view their playoff eligible players by clicking on their roster, if a player is "shaded out" they are not eligible. No names will be added to game cards come playoffs and use of an ineligible player will result in an automatic default. The final rosters will be updated for the few teams that play this evening later tonight.
