A reminder that registration for the summer season ends Sunday May 3rd, registration will take place at our newest sponsor the PINT!
For the summer season:
1. The PIT is working with the city to ensure we have a south end, north end and west end field for the duration of the season which should help all teams in terms of providing a flexible schedule close to home!
2. We have taken teams requests into consideration and are moving toward more weekday games. There will still be games on weekends and many teams have requested weekends (and they will get them!) but we will try to keep teams that prefer weekdays to Monday-Friday as much as possible. We have new fields that should help us run more weekday games this summer. We should be able to create some great schedules for our players!
3. New sponsors: The PINT has come on board to offer some great player of the week awards and EVERY PIT summer player will receive one free order of wings and a 20% off coupon good for all summer! When we add the other sponsors in the mix we will have a lot of free swag to give away this summer!
4. PIT team captain all-star game is back in the mix and the finals will once again be played on artificial turf!
5. We have also spread the decision making in the PIT amongst a board of current and former players...a board that will still add a couple of more people prior to the start of the summer season. This should allow for more transparency in decision making and bring a pool of qualified individuals together that will make the game day experience even that much better. 6. Aggregated lifetime stats have now been added to each player's profile! Move up the all-time PIT rankings in each of our statistical categories, an awesome feature that our web administrators have created for our membership.
