The PIT is proud to announce the start of registration for its fifth season of Spring indoor football. The largest and fastest growing touch football league in Canada will be offering divisions of skill from elite to beginner. Back by popular demand we will be returning both the coed division and the Master's Division (eligibility requirement being 40+ years of age, may turn 40 during season and still be eligible)!
As our membership has come to expect the PIT will offer the best facility, fields, competition, referees and swag in the most competitive and enjoyable environment. Our mandate is to provide players and teams with the best game day experience possible and our history speaks for itself!
Spring 2015 Indoor Season Information:
Season Starts: Friday April 10th
Season Ends: Sunday May 16th
Start times: Fridays/Saturdays, as early as 6:00pm (later time slots still available for those teams wanting to player later).
Divisions: Capped at 6 teams, top 4 teams make playoffs. Teams guaranteed a minimum of 5 games; each game is 1 hour in duration.
Registration Deadline: Noon Saturday April 4th (but will sell out much earlier!)
League Cap: 70 Teams
Cost: $675 if paying by Interac Etransfer (inclusive of GST and insurance)
Cost: $700 if paying by any other method (inclusive of GST and insurance)
Teams may schedule off any weekends with the exception of playoffs
The PIT is the only indoor league that offers insurance to its players and does not charge for schedule requests. Cash, certified cheque, and interac e-transfers accepted. Cheques are payable to PIT FOOTBALL CORP. Registration Deadline/League Cap:
We appreciate your support and will continue to run the best touch football league in Manitoba. However, due to the limited supply of available fields we will be capping the number of teams in the Spring at just 70! Although the registration deadline for the Spring season is noon Saturday April 4th, teams are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the league. The Spring season has sold out each year since our first season and we will assuredly be sold out once again prior to the deadline date. Please keep in mind that the league reserves the right to close registration early if we have reached the cap on teams. Don't get left out in the cold, the earlier you register the better chance you will be playing in Manitoba's largest and fastest growing touch football league.

Divisions will be aligned according to team caliber. Teams of all skill levels are encouraged to register. We will find a competitive division for all teams who are interested for the Spring league. The PIT will offer 15 different levels of skill for the Spring. If you have any questions regarding registration, divisions, competitive balance, or anything else be sure to contact us! No matter what division you played in previously, or if you are new to the game, we can find a competitive division for you. Spring registration already has 34% of the spots available accounted for just one week into registration! While the deadline is April 4th the league will assuredly be sold out prior to that time. Prime time hours available for the duration of the season and we are limited to just 70 teams total!
What would you do if you weren't playing football in the Spring? Probably would look something like this:

Spring registration now has over 50% of the spots available spoken for just a week and a half into registration! For those thinking of playing outdoor, most of our divisional champions in the outdoor season last year got off to great starts by playing in the Spring.
Register early to ensure your team makes it into the Spring...If you aren't playing in the Spring, perhaps you can catch up on your favorite soaps:

Spring Registration is now 2/3rds full! With only one-third of the spots remaining teams who are interested in playing Spring are strongly encouraged to get their teams signed up on the website ASAP. While the deadline for registration for our prime time offerings is April 4th we will assuredly sell out before that date!
No time for a haircut, get your team signed up!

Just 10 days left in Spring registration and there are just 10 spots remaining for the season! We have seen some very strong registration in the last week, pretty soon it will be down to whomever gets their payments in first! There are also only three spots remaining on the Men's Free Agent Team, however there are plenty of spots available still on the Coed Free Agent Team.
Teams are also reminded that they receive a discount by paying by interac etransfer. The league is no longer using the PITPayment@gmail.com address to accept etransfers. All etransfers may now be sent to j.franklin@uwinnipeg.ca All etransfers that have previously been sent to PITPayment have been received, but please note the change in email address for future payments. If you would like to arrange payment or wish to be placed on one of the free agent teams please contact Jon via email or 204.223-5912.
No matter how busy you are you in the Spring, you can't be as busy as Peyton Manning...and he still has time to play football!
