'Twas the night of Christmas, when all through the house
Everyone drank crown to escape the nattering of their spouse;
The jerseys were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that the Winter season soon would be there;
The Fall trophies are now nestled all snug in their team captain's beds,
While visions of championship glory dance in their heads.
Who knew I was quite the thespian?
