Teams were anticipating the brand new artificial turf found at the indoor complex and when it was unveiled it definitely didn't disappoint. Not a stretch to say that it was the best turf I have ever been on. Some great games including a 13 point comeback in the final 1:10 of the game by the Slobberknockers to force overtime. Unfortunately for the Slobbies, Juke, Jive and Hustle prevailed on the 4th OT convert. Not to be outdone the Teletubbies were force fed a Mooseknuckle sandwich also in overtime. Field #3 was definitely the place to be for some barn burners last night.

Hearing that the new turf was installed I was concerned. I was worried that the turf would be slick as it was when we started playing years ago. After playing last night I must say. Best turf I've played on as well. Hats off to the complex that improves the quality of our game . Only thing is be prepared to bring more of the black pellets home with ya.

The new Turf is great. "Turf burn"? Not so fucking great. If you are going to sell out to make those tough catches, make sure you wear something that protects those knees and shins. I didn't in our last game on friday night, and I'm OH SO VERY SORRY I didn't. I'd post the picture as a "what not to do" but I can't find a way to post pics on here. Shitty thing is: I sold out to get that catch, and in the end, the team went with the penalty on the defence which negated my catch. FML
