A reminder to all teams to pick up their garbage when they leave the fields. Every season it astonishes me the number of teams who will leave their trash on the fields. Please keep in mind the following:
1. We can lose our fields if we don't keep them clean - there are so few fields available for adult rec sports, why would you jeopardize what you have?
2. In a time of environmentalism, how can someone justify leaving their garbage in green space?
3. Be a role model and pick up after yourself.
A big thanks to the Cobras who cleaned up Van Welleghem on Saturday and to the Horde who did the same Sunday. The field was a pigsty Sunday evening, teams who played at Van Welleghem this weekend and didn't pick up their garbage should be ashamed!
